Professor of Chemistry Phone: (86) 27-87793242 Email: hdong@mail.hust.edu.cn Academic Areas: Carbohydrate Chemistry, Fine Chemical Engineering |
Hai Dong obtained his BEng degree in 1992. Then he had been working in industry as a chemical engineer for more than ten years. He went to Ramstrom’s group in Stockholm in 2004 and obtained his PhD degree in 2009. After six months when he stayed in Ramstrom’s group as a researcher, he moved to the School of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, Huazhong University of Science & Technology, as a professor of chemistry. His researches focus on carbohydrate chemistry, including regioselective protection, epimerization, glycosylation, oligosaccharide synthesis, H-bonding and reaction mechanism. |
