As associate professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Chaoyang Fu is also the general secretary of corrosion inhibitor and water treatment professional committee of Chinese Society of Corrosion and Protection. He mainly engages devotes in the chemistry and materials teaching of college student and graduate student, and also devotes in the scientific research of corrosion failure and corrosion inhibitor technology in the oil and gas fields. Research projects are concerned to the technological developments from Sinopec, COSL, CNOOC, Petrochina in main, and a little from Baosteel and international cooperation with Singapore PSB. Completed a number of scientific research reports, published more than 10 patents and 100 articles, he has obtained several awards as core member such as the second award of Hubei province science and technology progress, the second award of progress of science and technology of China Society of Corrosion and Protection, and national marine science and technology second award.
