Academic Areas: Biomaterials

Hao Jiang is the Associate Professor at School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research  focuses on two topics: mutifunctional peptide-based nanomedicines for combined antitumor therapy; antimicrobial peptide-based hydrogels with broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity for chronic wound healing. He is also exploring polymerization activity of bioactive monomers inside cells. His goal is to use this knowledge to construct functional biomaterials that can specifically affect cellular bioactivities.
