Hongfang Liu is currently a Professor and Vice Director of School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. She received her Ph. D from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2000. And then she joined Huazhong University of Science and Technology as associated professor. In 2003, she joined Hiroshima University working as a foreigner research professor in Venture Business Laboratory. In 2005, She came back to Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Researches focus on material science and technology, the oil-water gathering pipeline system corrosion, control method, microbiologically influenced corrosion, sulfate reducing bacteria, iron oxidizing bacteria, nanomaterial fabrication. ORR, OER, and sensors/biosensors, biomarker detection, bacterial detection.
