Prof. Yijing Liu joined the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in November 2019. His main research interests include the development of multifunctional nanomaterials for theranostic applications, the study of the interaction at nano-bio interfaces, and the design and application of transdermal drug delivery systems such as microneedles. He got his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland under the supervision of Prof. Zhihong Nie's group and then worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Xiaoyuan Chen's group at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Up to now, he has published more than 80 academic papers, including J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Chem. Soc. Rev., Nat. Biomed. Eng., Adv. Mater., ACS Nano and other high-level journals.
