Dr. Xu Zhao is an Associate Professor in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). He was born in Biyang of Henan, China, in 1991. He received a Ph.D. in physical chemistry at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) under the tutelage of Prof. Jie Zeng (2018). Then he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Wayne State University. In 2019, he took the position of Associate Professor for Chemistry at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Up to now, Dr. Xu Zhao has published 13 papers, including J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Energy Environ. Sci., J. Catal., Appl. Catal. B: Environ., J. Mater. Chem. A, Chem. Commun., Langmuir, etc., and 4 patents in the field of electrocatalysis and energy conversion.
